| This screening program assists local schools, preschools, and families in the identification of head lice. |

| The Immunization Program provides vaccinations for children from birth through 18 years. All the vaccine is supplied through a federal program, Vaccines For Children (VFC). |

| The need for increased blood lead screening has been identified because Iowa has a high percentage of pre- 1960 housing. Lead based paint, the most common source of lead poisoning, is often found in homes built before 1960. |

| Maternal Health |
| The Maternal Health Program sees clients both prenatal and post partum for enhanced teaching only. All pregnant women are eligible to enroll in the program. |

| Stork's Nest/Baby Boutique |
| The agency continues to be involved with the Stork's Nest/Baby Boutique. Initial funding was made possible through an Empowerment grant and collaboration with the Family Steps Program since opening in July 2002. |
