The Hepatitis B vaccine is provided for infants, children, and adults.Vaccinations for infants and children are mandatory. Nine years ago, OSHA created mandatory requirements for Employers to vaccinate their staff if they are at risk for being exposed to Hepatitis B. To be adequately protected, a person needs a series of three shots given at different intervals. Crawford County Home Health, Hospice & Public Health has been supplying and administering the vaccine as requested by service groups.
